This is a video-based course. It is therefore imperative for you to have strong computer and Internet speeds.
Please complete these following steps prior to starting your class.
- Reboot your computer.(Turn it completely off and back on.)
- Use Chrome or Firefox as your browser.If you do not have either of these browsers installed, either one can be downloaded for free. Just type “download Chrome” or “download Firefox” into your current browser window and follow the prompts.
- Clear all cache, cookies and temporary files.If you are unsure how to do this, type “clear cache and cookies” into your web browser and follow the prompts for the type of computer you are using (Mac or PC).
- Check the speed of your internet connection. Here is a link SPEED TEST. As you click on each section of videos or slides, you will see a wheel spin as the file loads.THESE ARE LARGE FILES SO PLEASE BE PATIENT. If you do not have a “fast” Internet speed or better, files may not load.
- Do not have multiple programs open on your computer as this can also affect bandwidth and the ability for files to load.
