Benefits of Continuing Education with Diehl.
The number one complaint about CE, in general, is that it’s boring, not current, and a waste of time. That’s why we create our courses with full video, tons of interactions, and engagements and bring in guest expert interviews to talk about current issues and recent enforcements.
Experience the Diehl difference – Engage, Educate and Entertain through your required courses.
Not all NMLS Continuing Education classes are created equally. Diehl Education offers MLOs tons of benefits like classes that are both engaging and entertaining. Plus, Diehl’s instructors have more than 20 years of experience.
Don’t believe us? Just check out the high ratings and reviews from past students. You can get your coursework completed and reported within just 48 short business hours.
Time - Certified
When you take a continuing education class through Diehl Education, you can be confident that you won’t be in the course for any longer than you have to. Each class is carefully timed to ensure that it meets the necessary 8 hours – without a minute more, provided you stay focused and pay attention, of course.
Updated Industry Content
Continuing Education isn’t useful if it has outdated content. That’s why Diehl Education updates all of its Federal and state-specific Continuing Education course each year. This means you’ll have a totally new Federal CE course each year as well as a new state-specific CE course. So, not only will you get new, engaging information annually, you’ll also be satisfying the SAFE Act’s “Successive Year” rule.
Support Every Step of the Way
At Diehl Education, we work hard to help all MLOs have an amazing Continuing Education course experience. Backed up by rave reviews in surveys and Google, we’re confident that Diehl offers the customer service and help you deserve.
Convenient, Quick Reporting to the NMLS
After you successfully complete your CE course, Diehl reports your completion to the NMLS within 24-48 business hours. That’s actually more than twice as fast as the NMLS requires. In turn, you’ll have peace-of-mind that your coursework is completed and reported by the time the NMLS deadline rolls around.
Course Options
Students can choose live classes, online coursework, and live streaming to complete their CE.

Comply with the SAFE Act’s “Successive Year” rule
The best way to figure out who needs to take this class is to log in to the NMLS to see your requirements. Your Course Completion Record will show you whether you need to earn your Continuing Education credits.
Mortgage Continuing Education Courses by State
Every state has varying Continuing Education requirements and some state agencies even require MLOs to take classes covering state-specific content. Make sure that you fully review the requirements for the state you’re licensed in.
To give you an example, New Hampshire simply requires MLOs to finish 8 hours of CE each year and there are no additional state-specific requirements. However, if you’re an MLO in New York, you’ll need 11 hours of CE with 3 hours spent on New York-specific content.
To see your specific state’s CE requirement, choose your state.

"When we get through an educational event, and I get positive feedback from our members...quite frankly I've done my job, we've done our job and we've provided ourselves a great opportunity to not only retain those members in the association but to be able to effectively reach out to new members and grow the association."

Diehl and Scott are fantastic! They really helped me in my preparation for my state licensing exam.
Specially the app, Prep2Pass. I can't imagine using anyone else!
Brand new to this industry and passed the Federal exam first time in less than 30 days. Scott presents the online class in a laid back professional atmosphere which totally helps doing the 20 hours compliance training.
With the training provided by Diehl and the study tools that were given to me I was able to pass the National test on my first try. I would recommend this training to anyone wanting to take their MLO test.
Today I passed my NMLS exam with an 81. Thanks Frank and Scott. You guys Rock!!!
